Ο Πασχάλης Καστανάς είναι επικεφαλής του τομέα Βιώσιμης Ανάπτυξης της Nestlé Ελλάς. Διαθέτει πολυετή εμπειρία στη βιομηχανία καφέ, τροφίμων και ποτών, έχοντας εργαστεί σε διαφορετικές αγορές, όπως το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, η Ελβετία, η Ρουμανία και η Σερβία. Κατά τη διάρκεια της επαγγελματικής του πορείας έχει ηγηθεί έργων ανάπτυξης νέων προϊόντων καφέ, επεξεργασίας και παραγωγής καφέ, καθώς και επενδύσεων σε νέες γραμμές παραγωγής και οργανωτικές δομές στον κλάδο των τροφίμων. 

Στον σημερινό του ρόλο συμβάλλει στη διαμόρφωση στρατηγικών βιώσιμης ανάπτυξης με στόχο την προώθηση της κυκλικής οικονομίας. Παράλληλα, συνεργάζεται ενεργά με τον ΣΕΒΤ και άλλους επαγγελματικούς φορείς για την ανάπτυξη προτάσεων και θέσεων σχετικά με την περιβαλλοντική νομοθεσία και τη βιωσιμότητα. 

Υποστηρίζει διαχρονικά την ανάπτυξη γνώσεων και δεξιοτήτων νέων μηχανικών και επιστημόνων, ενισχύοντας τη σύνδεση της ακαδημαϊκής γνώσης με τη βιομηχανική πρακτική. 

Είναι κάτοχος διδακτορικού (PhD) στη Μηχανική και Τεχνολογία Τροφίμων από το University of Reading.

Pascalis Kastanas is Sustainability Manager at Nestlé Hellas. He has extensive experience in the coffee, food, and beverage industry, having worked across several international markets, including the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Romania, and Serbia. Throughout his career, he has led projects involving the development of new coffee products, coffee processing and manufacturing operations, as well as investments in new production lines and organizational structures within the food industry. 

In his current role, he contributes to the development and implementation of sustainability strategies aimed at advancing the circular economy. He also collaborates closely with the Hellenic Food Industries Association (SEVT) and other professional organizations to develop proposals and positions related to environmental legislation and sustainability. 

He is a strong advocate for the development of young engineers and scientists, supporting the growth of technical skills and knowledge while strengthening the connection between academic research and industrial practice. 

Pascalis holds a PhD in Food Engineering and Technology from the University of Reading.
